Because a

small change can change your life

why small shift

I've spent plenty of time looking for answers and yearning for change. I want more for myself, for those I love, for the places I work and the world I live in. One day, I woke up and realized that things were better. The road was full of lightbulb moments, daydreaming, books, discussions, laughter and tears. Everyone's road is different, but I know this for sure: small changes can change your life.

what you can expect

Change is hard, and it's scary and if you're like me, you find it exhausting because you try to change everything all at once because why not revamp your diet, your apartment, your exercise routine and seek a deeper connection with your partner in the midst of a god damn pandemic?

So where do you start if you want to learn to budget? To love more authentically? To maintain your home? To take a great picture? To stop being so hard on yourself? To make sure your spinach doesn't go rotten so fast?

I'll draw on my experiences, and those of all the beautiful and wise people in my life, to offer up a small shift that's an easy place to start. I'll give you insights from regular folks like me, and expert tips from some of the best in their fields. Fresh ideas and baby steps, y'all.

I'll try to be succinct cause we're all busy enough. I'll try to make you smile. I might make you cry. I hope I'll make you think. I'll most likely swear a little bit because I'm trying to be fucking authentic here.

I want us all to be as happy as I was in that picture up there. Forehead vein bulging happiness. Let's get there together, one shift at a time.

about me

I'm in my mid-thirties. I love to nap. I work in events and communications. Winnipeg is home and yes, I love it. I've fought and won some battles. I've fought and lost a few, too. Some struggles are ongoing but I'm finding joy along the way.

I believe that I was put on this earth to help us find connection.
This is the first time I've tried to do that publicly. Thanks for letting me be a part of your road.

Jocelyne
